Zulma Figueroa
Certified Dental Assistant

Zulma Figueroa is a full-time Certified Dental Assistant. She was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico and joined Dr. Blum's team in April 2000.

Zulma started he career in dentistry in 1993 as a Certified Dental Assistant. She enjoys taking continuing education seminars and just recently traveled to Atlanta, GA for five days of learning.

Zulma is very compassionate and caring. She has one of the most diverse and interesting of all positions in the dental office. Her job is a challenging and rewarding one, demanding versatility and responsibility for many different tasks. Her bilingual (English-Spanish) abilities enable Zulma to serve many patients who only speak Spanish and were previously unable to communicate with their care provider.

Zulma enjoys fishing and dancing in her spare time. She resides in Davie, Florida with her five children. Maria, Jason, Gilbert, Madeline and Zulma Iris.

Suzette Allahand
Office Manager

Suzette Allahand is our full-time Office Manager. She was born and raised in Bronx, NY and joined Dr. Blum's team 18 years ago when Dr. Blum was just starting his dental practice.

Suzette is hard working, caring and compassionate. She manages the overall office performance. Her responsibilities include, exceeding patient care expectations and providing support for all office team members. Suzette is an expert at establishing practices to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow - from check-in to charge-out. She also helps patients understand and select treatment options. Everyone relates to Suzette and loves talking to her. She welcomes all patients and guests, like she would to her own home. She anticipates the patients' needs in advance and always responds to them in a timely manner.

Suzette enjoys car shows in her spare time, and is an avid country music lover. She resides in Sunrise, Florida with her husband Michael and daughters Melissa and Ashley.

Stephanie Slater
Registered Dental Hygienist

Stephanie Slater is a full-time Registered Dental Hygienist. Born and raised in Pittsfield, Massachusetts and joined Dr. Blum's team in July 2001.

Stephanie started her career in dentistry in 1994 as a Dental Assistant. She is a graduate of Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene. She currently has dental hygiene licenses in both Florida and Massachusetts.

Stephanie is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association. She enjoys taking continuing education seminars on all aspects of dentistry. Stephanie is very dedicated in detecting gum disease in it's earliest stages. She is committed to providing a continually rising standard of care and becoming recognized as a leader in health, wellness and prevention in the community.

Stephanie enjoys the Miami Dolphins, is an avid animal lover and resides in Plantation, Florida with her Black Lab "Dallas".
